Privacy Policy

The short version
Lap Tracker stores all your data locally on your device. We don't have accounts, we don't sync to the cloud, and we don't track you. Your session logs, vehicle setups, tire records, and maintenance history never leave your phone unless you explicitly export them.
Data storage
All data you enter into Lap Tracker is stored in a local database on your device. This includes vehicles, track day sessions, lap times, tire information, maintenance records, and setup configurations. None of this data is transmitted to any server.
No accounts or cloud sync
Lap Tracker does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no cloud synchronization. Your data exists only on the device where you use the app.
Crash reporting
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized crash reports. This helps us identify and fix bugs. Crash reports include technical information about your device (model, OS version, app version) and the state of the app at the time of the crash. They do not include any of your personal data, session logs, vehicle information, or setup data.
No personal data collection
We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information. We don't know who you are, what tracks you visit, or what cars you drive. That information stays on your device.
No advertising or ad tracking
Lap Tracker contains no advertisements and no ad tracking SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers or ad networks. We never will.
Backup files
The app allows you to export and import backup files. These files are created on your device and stored wherever you choose to save them. Backup files contain your app data in a structured format. You are responsible for where you store and share these files. We never receive or access your backup files.
Third-party services
The only third-party service used is Firebase Crashlytics for anonymous crash reporting, as described above. No other third-party analytics, tracking, or data collection services are integrated into the app.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or website.
